Thank you everyone who
attended our Benefit for APEARCH. It was a huge success. We netted a total of 15,555
pesos. And kudos to everyone who pitched in to help. We couldn't have done it with out
you. The children's dance troupe was especially cool. And Thursday night, WOW!. The place
was packed! It was Oscar and Dina's going away party and everyone partied very hard. The
music was great and the Tequila flowed like wine. Oscar will be here for the last time
tonight and then will be moving to Tucson AZ with his family. We're going to miss the lad,
that is for sure.
Christmas is almost here. So......Friday, Christmas day pot luck at Philo's. You bring a
dish to serve 8 to 10 people and we furnish the turkey. Dinner is served at 5 p.m. 50 peso
charge at the door to cover some of the expenses. Immediately following dinner Santa will
arrive and give out gifts to the children of La Cruz. Each year we give out between 350
and 400 gifts. Come early to get a good seat. We need a few Santa's helpers to bag
gifts on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 12 noon. If you have some time drop by. It will only take a
couple of hours and it's fun too.And
really get ready. New Year's Eve party at Philo's. Music, Spirits, Food, Romance,
Intrigue, Comedy. No Cover. No Charge.

Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. (PV time), beginning January 5th. A donation is requested
at each class.
The free Salsa lessons on Tuesday night have been a big hit. Come by and join in on the
fun beginning at 8 pm.
