I made it. Took us 11 days to motor /
sail up from Puerta Vallarta to Santa Cruz California. They don't call it the
"Ba Ha Bash" for nothing. It was pretty rocky but lots of fun. As my
friend Richard from Latitude 38 would say, we cheated death one more time.
Tomorrow I will be heading up to Mendocino to start
the ball rolling for the "Gathering of the Tribe" music event to be held on the
1st and 2nd of August in Albion, near Mendocino California. For those who are
planning to come, I will be giving you more information in my next weeks
"Philo's Notes" so stay tuned.
Quick reminder to everyone. Friday
June 26th we will be celebrating the 8th anniversary of Philo's bar, resturant and music
studio, as well as Philo's 29th birthday. Well, maybe not my 29th
birthday, but you get the point. You can expect lots of great music with many
special guests. Please come and help us celebrate. For those of you who
can't make it, I will be updating you in my next Philo's Notes, on all the crazy and
cool things that happen at the party.

"I have never met a person whose greatest need
was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of
kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love. You feel it in your
heart. It is the common fiber of life, the flame that heals our soul, energizes our spirit
and supplies passion to our lives. It is our connection to God and to each
other."
Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
