NOTES ARCHIVE

March 3rd, 2009

Sure was great having Aynsley here playing drums for us while Carlos was away.   Lots and lots of people came by to meet Ayns and listen to his incredible drumming.  Can't thank you enough for helping out Aynsley.  Hope to see you again soon.  By the way, he gave La Cruz and us local yokels a big thumbs up.  Check out Aynsley's web site.  www.aynsleydunbar.com

Lisa, from Bahia Home Care, will give a talk at Philo's on Wednesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. on her service of hospice home care, tending to the needs of the terminally ill.

The Friendship Club of La Cruz thanks everyone who turned out for our annual Mexican Benefit last week.  After food and entertainment expenses, we made 32,000 pesos!  Muchas gracias to all our many supporters.

Our great thanks, also, to the La Cruz Marina, U..S. Consular Agent Kelly Trainor, and Elements Realty for hosting a Nayarit Network Breakfast to highlight the Friendship Club. Donated school supplies will be distributed to the kindergartens in La Cruz.

Finally , a heartfelt a thank you to Muriel Taylor, our patroness artist, for representing the Friendship Club at the Nuevo Vallarta Marina art show, where all proceeds from the sale of her art benefited the Friendship Club of La Cruz. Her works are on display and for sale at Philo's.

Don't forget. Water aerobics. Heated pool. 10:30 Tuesday and Thursday. Donations accepted. Call LaDonna Schmidt at
322 149 7905.

And remember...

"Tomorrow is the most important thing in life.  Comes into us at midnight very clean.  It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands.  It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."
